Edward W. Williams, Ltd. conducts several types of seminars throughout the year.   A licensing examination preparation seminar is offered twice a year (August and February) that are geared toward preparing the Private Detective, Private Security Contractor or Private Alarm Contractor applicant for the examinations that are required in order to obtain licensure.

The firm also offers an IDFPR PERC registration and record keeping seminar several times a year in a group setting or can also be scheduled for an individual agency either onsite or in our offices.  This two-hour seminar is designed give new agencies a jumpt start on IDFPR compliance or also serves as a refresher course for established agencies.

The firm also handles a variety of commercial litigation cases involving mortgage brokers, real estate brokers, real estate appraisers, real estate developers and title insurance companies to name a few.

Edward W. Williams, Ltd. also represents licensees and other individuals in federal court who have been either wrongfully arrested, unlawfully detained, or otherwise have had their civil rights violated by police agencies.
